We have learned from a pension call centre agent that Service Canada pension office has a national plan to allow pension applicants to send their application or supporting documents by email. This service is not advertised publicly. To be able to send the documents by email, applicants must first contact pension call centre to let the agent know the obstacles they encounter that prevent them from going outside to physically mail the application.

The situation must be dire or health safety related. People who are applying for CPP Disability may be able to send their application by email as well.
