Pensioners who are age 75 and over will receive a notification letter from Service Canada pension office notifying them of their entitlement to the permanent 10% increase in their OAS monthly payment.
Only pensioners who have passed their 75th birthday will be eligible. The first eligible payment begins in July 2022. Recipients of the Old Age Security (OAS) pension who are turning 75 after July 1, 2022 will see a permanent 10% increase in the month following their 75th birthday.
