We work hard to keep every guide on PensionCanada.ca accurate and up to date. When we get something wrong, we want to know about it — and we want you to be able to see that we fixed it.
How to report an error
If you spot a mistake in one of our articles — a wrong payment date, an outdated benefit amount, or an incorrect eligibility rule — please let us know through our Email Us page using the contact form there. To help us investigate quickly, please include:
- The title or web address of the article containing the error
- A description of what is wrong and what you believe is correct
- A link to the official source (for example, a canada.ca page), if you have one
Please do not include personal information such as your Social Insurance Number or banking details. We cannot access your Service Canada file.
How we handle corrections
- We review every report and verify the facts against official sources such as canada.ca and Service Canada announcements.
- If a correction is needed, we update the article promptly. The article’s “Last Updated” date reflects the change.
- For significant factual corrections, we add a dated correction note to the article so readers can see what changed and when.
- Minor fixes (typos, formatting, broken links) are corrected without a note.
Our commitment
Accuracy is the foundation of trust. We would rather correct a mistake publicly than leave it unaddressed. Thank you for helping us keep PensionCanada.ca reliable for everyone.
